Lesley Jones took up the post of Chief Executive at Keep Wales Tidy at the beginning of March 2010.
Lesley has lived in Cardiff for the past 18 years, but is a native of Wrexham with a degree in Politics from Swansea University. After periods of working and travelling overseas and in England, she returned to Wales in 1992 to take up a post as credit union officer with the Wales Co-operative Centre in Cardiff.
The Co-operative Centre provides support and training for social enterprises and co-operatives. Six years later she was promoted to the post of Credit Union Project Manager and in 2004 she was appointed the Centre’s Deputy Chief Executive.
Lesley has also been a member of Charter Housing Board in Newport for the last 3 years and became its Chair just over a year ago.
